Michael Dillon

Mr. Dillon serves as the Managing Director for Trimont Real Estate Advisors Servicing platform and manages a team of Portfolio Asset Managers and support staff that is responsible for the management, administration, and reporting on various clients loan investments.  The services delivered range from cash management and compliance tracking on performing loans to document enforcement and cash collection on non-performing loan pools.  Additionally, Mr. Dillon works across departments to build and refine processes to ensure client expectations are met.  While in Trimont’s Irvine office, Mr. Dillon was responsible for the management and professional development of a team of asset managers and financial analysts.  The team members were responsible for the asset management of loan and joint venture equity investments on real estate assets located throughout the western US.  His responsibilities included the day to day management of the team, approving business plan and strategy recommendations to the client, and real estate workout strategies on a variety of assets and portfolios.  In addition, Mr. Dillon arranged training classes for the Irvine office with real estate workout counsel, title companies, receivers, construction consultants, and real estate tax specialists.

Relevant Experience:

Mr. Dillon joined Trimont in 1998 and has over 18 years of professional experience in commercial real estate.  His experience includes portfolio management and reporting, asset management and servicing process improvement, and managing the boarding of over 25 loan pools as well as performing asset management services  on various real estate deals, including land entitlement and development, condo construction and sales, and income producing office and multifamily properties.  In December 2008, Mr. Dillon closed the sale of distressed condo conversion in San Diego by keeping the asset under contract through the bankruptcy of our client, keeping communication channels open among the buyer, seller, and senior loan master servicer.
