John Gass

Mr. Gass serves as Managing Director for Trimont Real Estate Advisors and oversees the Bond Administration team. He is responsible for the creation, management and oversight of the team which has serviced over $10B of bond debt issued on military housing projects, tax increment projects, parking systems and commercial real estate assets located throughout the United States. Mr. Gass also sources new transactions, manages pre-closing duties including construction analysis and transaction document review and manages transaction restructures.

Relevant Experience:

Mr. Gass has over 15 year experience with bond finance and 30 years of experience with institutional real estate finance and investment.  Since joining Trimont in 2000, Mr. Gass has serviced a diverse portfolio of complex bond, commercial mortgage and equity assets totaling over $16 billion including over $8B of development projects.  The Bond Administration team services 27 military housing bond transactions with over $5.5B of bonds issued on privatized military housing transactions for the Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy.    Public Private Projects include asset management on a 9,000 space parking system in Harrisburg, PA and a privatized flex industrial space at a national airport where duties included negotiating restructured terms of ground lease and bond documents.  Additional projects include construction and environmental monitoring associated with TIF financing for the redevelopment of the Stapleton airport in Denver, CO and due diligence on a TIF financing associated with redevelopment surrounding a 1MM square foot office HQ in a major Midwest city.
