As Managing Director for EMEA, Jaymon Jones oversees the Performing Asset Management and Client Services teams for Trimont’s London office. He works closely with Trimont’s Senior Managing Director in EMEA, helping develop and execute the firm’s European strategy, developing new business and managing US/European transatlantic relationships. He is part of the firm’s Global Advisory Council and represents the company at many industry conferences in Europe. 

Relevant Experience:

Prior to joining Trimont, Mr. Jones was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and head of portfolio management of the CMBS, RMBS and SME transactions within EMEA. He managed a team that provided management services such as supervision of SPV, transaction surveillance reporting and investor relations.

In 2003, Mr. Jones transferred from the US to the UK to work with Hatfield Philips International (HPI) in developing the requirements for European CMBS loan management. At HPI, Jones managed a team focused on securitizations, loan modelling, systems development and surveillance for the UK and European transactions for institutional clients.

Mr. Jones began his real estate finance career in 1998 with GMAC – RFC as a Senior Commercial Real Estate Loan Administrator performing due diligence on the pre- and post-loan processes. Subsequently, he worked at Hatfield Philips in the US as a senior financial analyst, where he focused on the analysis of subordinate commercial loans and equity positions on real estate assets across the United States.

Mr. Jones has served as CREFC-Europe's Chair of the E-IRP Committee and on the Board of Governors. He holds a degree in Finance/Real Estate from Georgia State University.
