Ted Wright

Executive Managing Director – Americas

Based in Trimont’s Kansas City office, Ted Wright oversees Trimont’s Investment Advisory, Credit and Asset Management, and Credit Administration business lines for the Americas region, and serves on Trimont’s Management Committee.

Mr. Wright has over 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience including oversight of public/private debt portfolios as well as equity positions. Prior to joining Trimont in 2022, Ted was Senior Director, Head of Asset Management at SitusAMC where his teams oversaw portfolios of highly structured debt including construction, A/B participations, mezzanine and preferred equity positions.

Before his time at SitusAMC, he was SVP, Asset Management at Cohen Financial, a Division of SunTrust Bank where his responsibilities included serving as a member of the Credit, Watchlist and Risk Management Committees. In addition, Ted worked for the Institutional Advisory Group and Southport Asset Management where he assisted in the restructure of a NYSE traded master limited partnership with development holdings in Arizona, California and Texas and liquidated non-performing CRE loan portfolios for the RTC.
